42-Year-old man arrested in robbery and wounding case in Clementi

Singapore Police Force issued a statement on Saturday (October 22) saying that the police received a notification at about 8:45 am on Saturday that a robbery occurred near Clementi Road 2. After being notified, officers from
Clementi Police Station reviewed the police electric eye footage to investigate, locked down the identity of the 42-year-old man, and arrested him within three hours of the incident.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the man was suspected of stealing a victim's handbag containing a mobile phone and other items, worth about 900 yuan. The female victim was also injured during the robbery.
The man will be charged next Monday (24th) with robbery and wounding.
